The brief
Brazil’s closed season is enforced by law and lasts months. Corona works on those coasts, and the fishermen there lose their only income for the length of it.
The idea
Their own legends, taken down and turned into things a village can sell: an animated short, A Ilha Rachada, and a book of five tales bound in boat wood, net, canvas and cement.

The result
The tales became something to sell in the months there is nothing else to sell, and the villages took bookings for them. The closing card says it flat: the stories of the sea helped the fishermen in real life.
